Renovation and extension
A contemporary extension and renovation to a turn of the century Victorian cottage. Features included polished concrete and stained hardwood flooring. Dropped stained timber lining board ceilings in the kitchen area, creating zones within the living space. The strip skylights and fin walls create an airy and dramatic focus to the main living areas accentuated by the living spaces overlooking a timber deck and grassy courtyard.

The brief for this 3-storey, 5 bedroom extension and renovation, was to match the existing Edwardian period features. Features we incorporated included a central fireplace incorporating sandstone and stacked stone, grey ironbark flooring and staircase, as well as Caesar Stone bench tops in the kitchen and bathrooms. New Build Home
Late nineties new build. Six Degrees Architects designed a contemporary three bedroom home using materials such as large concrete blockwork and ply. We worked around an existing red brick fire place and courtyard. With indoor spaces opening up to outdoor spaces incorporating a feature pond around the perimeter. Interior features included polished concrete floors, high ply ceilings and a local artist commissioned to supply artwork on doors opening up from living to outside.
Renovation
Designed by Architects EAT, this renovation to an existing 1960s 4-bedroom home incorporated stained hardwood floors and painted feature wall panelling. Other features include Caesar Stone bench tops, 2-pack cabinetry and Carrara Marble bathroom floor tiles.
New Build Home
An architecturally designed townhouse built as part of a subdivision. Including a common walkway to both properties, landscaping and renovation to existing front dwelling. New townhouse build at back of property with rear lane access. Featuring spotted gum polished boards, entry with staircase and feature pendant, Carrara marble benches, subway and mosaic tiles, walk in robes to ensuite.

This renovation and 2-storey extension to a Federation home in East Malvern embraced the period features of the existing home and sympathetically transformed the home into a 4-bedroom family residence. Features included an underground concrete cellar, Tasmanian Oak hardwood flooring throughout, renovation of the original swimming pool and the addition of a rear veranda to match the original period front veranda.

Extension
Six Degrees Architects designed an extension to this existing converted warehouse in North Melbourne. For the extension we incorporated an addition to the front entry and façade utilizing quirky coloured glass feature tiles, whilst maintaining a warehouse feel.
